BOOMI PLATFORM ENHANCES KALYRA’S CLIENT CARE, WORKFORCE EFFICIENCY

(Graphic: Business Wire)

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- Boomi, a leader in intelligent integration and automation, announced that Kalyra has used the Boomi Enterprise Platform to enhance data-informed client care, launch new digital services, and fast-track workforce onboarding and productivity as part of its broader client experience-led transformation.

With over 130 years of operation, Kalyra, a prominent provider of aged care services in South Australia, has taken significant steps in its digital transformation to enhance client experience and streamline human resources by centralising data across previously disconnected systems.

In a statement, Boomi Chief Technology Officer, APJ, David Irecki said automating and integrating Kalyra’s core processes gives the organisation’s workforce the ability to focus more on delivering the compassionate, high-quality care its clients have come to rely on.

Meanwhile, Kalyra General Manager of Information and Digital Services, Nicole Fishers said accuracy in the digital systems is non-negotiable in providing quality care, as the company faced challenges with outdated and duplicate data, which slowed down care delivery.

“We turned to Boomi to break down our data silos, paving the way for a new era of digital support services,” she said.

By implementing Boomi’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS), Kalyra connected its core business systems through a hub-and-spoke model, including Elmo (human resources), AlayaCare (home care system), iCare (residential care system), CarePage (customer experience system), and My Kalyra (mobile app).

Through the integration, Kalyra launched the My Kalyra app, giving families real-time access to service updates, the ability to adjust care schedules, and full transparency in financial details. This digital transformation has led to better accuracy in client data, reducing inefficiencies for staff who now have instant access to all necessary information.

Boomi’s platform also improved Kalyra’s workforce management by streamlining onboarding processes, reducing errors, and speeding up staff hiring. Additionally, Kalyra’s enhanced data framework ensures better reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.

Looking ahead, Kalyra is gearing up to leverage even more of the Boomi Enterprise Platform’s capabilities to harness the growing potential of artificial intelligence and robotics in improving health services.

JAKARTA, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- Under the theme 'Shaping the Future: Building Better Regulations for Tomorrow', the 9th Annual ASEAN-OECD Good Regulatory Practices Network (GRPN) Meeting concluded successfully at the Westin Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event brought together key policymakers, regulators, and experts from ASEAN and OECD countries to strengthen regulatory governance in an increasingly dynamic and complex global environment.

Co-chaired by Zahid Ismail, Director General of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), and Mark Steel, Director of Regulatory Systems, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, New Zealand, the meeting emphasised the importance of cross-border collaboration in developing robust, adaptive regulatory frameworks. Since its establishment in 2015, the ASEAN-OECD GRPN has served as a vital platform for sharing best practices, fostering mutual learning, and empowering member countries to implement effective regulatory reforms.

Malaysia showcased its commitment to regulatory modernisation through the Bureaucratic Reform Circular and the Regulatory Experimentation Circular. These initiatives guide ministries, agencies, and local governments in adopting innovative approaches to streamline processes using technology, promote agility in regulatory practices, and pilot initiatives that reduce compliance burdens while enhancing productivity and competitiveness. These efforts have delivered measurable results, including reduced processing times, improved service delivery, and a more attractive investment environment.

A standout session, led by the Legal Advisor from the Personal Data Protection Department, Ministry of Digital, Malaysia, addressed the critical issue of data breach notifications. This presentation explored challenges and requirements for managing data privacy in the digital age, equipping participants with actionable strategies to navigate emerging regulatory demands.

As Malaysia prepares to assume the ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025, it will host the 10th Annual ASEAN-OECD GRPN Meeting. This milestone event will further reinforce Malaysia’s leadership in advancing innovative, citizen-centred regulatory frameworks. The meeting will provide a platform to deepen regional collaboration and promote forward-thinking practices that balance economic growth with societal well-being.

The 9th GRPN Meeting reaffirmed the critical role of agile regulatory frameworks in addressing global challenges. Malaysia’s leadership—evident through its co-chair role and ongoing reforms—reflects its dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. By championing regulatory practices that drive competitiveness and social progress, Malaysia continues to set a benchmark for regional excellence.

Mavenir Wins Glotel Awards For Advancing AI In Telecom

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Mavenir, the cloud-native network infrastructure provider, has won the Advancing Artificial Intelligence Global Telecoms (Glotel) Award for its Network Intelligence as a Service (NIaaS).

Applying state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) to telco operations, Mavenir in a statement said its NIaaS elevates problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to improve the user experience.

Its Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cloud, AI & IMS Business Strategy, Brandon Larson said the future of the telecom industry lies with autonomous networks, and communication service providers (CSPs) need to rapidly adopt AI in their operations to remain relevant.

“Mavenir’s NIaaS applies state-of-the-art AI in telecom operations to build the future of networks today, enabling CSPs to offer advanced services and improved user experience to their consumers at a lower cost and realise enhanced operational efficiency,” he said.

Enhancing resource efficiency and reducing cost, NIaaS is an integral part of Mavenir’s market-leading portfolio of solutions enabling autonomous 5G networks.

As network operations become increasingly complex, the capability of autonomous networks has become crucial, with Mavenir’s solutions for autonomous networks leveraging leading open-source frameworks – spanning K8s/container cloud, GitOps-based cloud-native automation, and state-of-the-art AI/ML algorithms – and optimising them for the unique needs of CSPs.

In commercial service, Mavenir’s NIaaS has elevated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities of operational personnel, enabling them to improve network operations productivity, enforce service level agreements, enhance end-user experience, and utilise network resources more efficiently.

The NIaaS provides a visualisation layer displaying the inferencing of output of the ML model in a user-friendly manner, enabling telco operations personnel who do not have a background in data science to easily understand the output of the ML models.

In addition, NIaaS creates a digital twin of the operational network, using generative AI models, to derisk closed-loop operations, whereby the digital twin serves as a live test tool to evaluate optimisation actions suggested by NIaaS, before implementing them on the live network.
