Muhamad Shahril appointed to Danajamin's board

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Danajamin Nasional Bhd (Danajamin) has appointed Muhamad Shahril Othman as its new non-independent non-executive director, effective Oct 19, 2018.

Terns Pharmaceuticals completes US$80 million Series B financing to treat NASH and cancer

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- Terns Pharmaceuticals Inc announced the closing of US$80 million (RM334.4 million) Series B financing. (US$1 = RM4.18). The global biopharmaceutical company is focused on discovering and developing molecularly targeted, oral, small-molecule drugs to treat NASH and cancer.

According to a statement, the proceeds will be used to support development of clinical and preclinical NASH candidates.

The financing was led by new investors Vivo Capital and OrbiMed, joined by new investor Decheng Capital –  existing investor Lilly Asia Ventures also participated to provide continuous support.

The launch comes just twelve months after Damco established its first block train on the same route, a testimony that the customer demand for rail services to transport their cargo is on the rise.

NTT COMMUNICATIONS RATED FIRST FOR GROWTH IN CUSTOMER LOYALTY

A total of 866 people, who work for large and multi-national enterprises, were interviewed about their experiences with global service providers, generating about 1,000 evaluations and 6,000 points of data, over the last 12 months. The data was analyzed using an algorithm to calculate a cooperation coefficient, which is denoted by DZ and named DIZEME.

The ‘valued partner’ benchmark represents the point at which the level of cooperation between supplier and customer takes root and flourishes. It has a value of 100. Scores above the benchmark illustrate the gradation of firm customer loyalty (advocates and valued partners) and those below the benchmark illustrate the gradation of a fragile or deteriorating customer loyalty (habitual or convenience purchases). To obtain a ‘valued partner’ rating a service provider must exceed the ‘valued partner’ benchmark. This is achieved through a company-wide commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience. It requires that service providers demonstrate exceptional customer satisfaction to earn the firm loyalty of their customers.
