KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) -- Calgon Carbon Corporation -- headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA -- has named Steve Schott as president and chief executive officer (CEO) replacing Randy Dearth, effective August 3, 2018.
Schott joined the company in 2007 as executive director of Finance and promoted to vice-president and chief financial officer with responsibility for all corporate financial functions in 2010, a statement said.
He was promoted to executive vice-president, Advanced Materials, Manufacturing and Equipment in 2015 responsible for company´s European operations where Calgon Carbon is known as Chemviron.
Prior to joining the company, Schott spent eight years at DQE Inc -- a conglomerate whose primary business was electric energy. He held various positions including controller, vice-president of finance and chief financial officer.
