KUALA LUMPUR, March 9 (Bernama) -- The Miss Talent International Competition 2018 audition is now open for Malaysians, with the competition offering total cash and prizes worth RM200,000.
The licence holder for the competition, 28Mall,com, said the winner would represent Malaysia in the international competition in Hong Kong in May, the company, e1Net Sdn Bhd said in a statement, here, today.
Fione Tan, founder of 28Mall.com and the organising chairman of Miss Talent International Competition Malaysia 2018 said the competition aimed to unveil the talents of Malaysian women to the world.
“This is not another beauty pageant as we are focused on the talents and social media savviness of the contestants so that the winners can be the social media ambassadors and key influencers for 28Mall and our brands and sponsors,” she said.
Tan said the major highlight would be the introduction of Malaysia’s first Miss Social Media Award.
"This award with attractive cash and prizes worth RM50,000 will be presented to the winner with the best social media engagement during the contest period, and will be appointed social media ambassador and influencer for 28Mall and their sponsors," she added.
Since the inauguration in 2014, the pageant has become one of the top three in Hong Kong and has received wide media coverage, online and offline.
Those interested to participate may apply at www.misstalentmalaysia.com and those who attend the audition will be rewarded with a RM600 shopping coupon.
