KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- Lo, and behold! Art collective teamLab presents a spectacular ‘museum where you move through water’ in Toyosu, Tokyo.
Between Sept 1 and Nov 30, teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM.com (teamLab Planets) changes into an autumnal space.
Visitors are able to experience an artwork space where autumn leaves and chrysanthemums spread out, according to a statement.
The change to an autumnal space takes place in a massive interactive work entitled, Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People - Infinity, where visitors to the museum can walk barefoot through water.
During this three-month period only, the koi that swim across the endlessly expansive surface of the water will change into autumn leaves, chrysanthemums, and other autumn flowers as they collide with museum visitors.
In addition, starting October, a limited-edition menu will be available at the museum’s food stand, featuring the freshest seafood and shellfish, sent directly from Toyosu Market.
teamLab is an art collective, interdisciplinary group of ultra-technologists whose collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, science, technology, design and the natural world.
