& SINGAPORE, Jan 7 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) --Wirecard Singapore Pte Ltd, a
Wirecard Group company, supports ComfortDelGro Taxis in offering
digital payments via MasterPass, a payment service by MasterCard. ComfortDelGro
is a Singapore-based multinational land transport company which operates 46,500
vehicles in seven countries and manages the largest taxi fleet in Singapore. As
part of the cooperation, Wirecard handled the technical integration of the
wallet solution into the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App and is responsible for
payment processing. With this development, ComfortDelGro Taxis, which has a
fleet of 17,000 taxis, has become the first taxi company in Singapore to accept
MasterPass.
