KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, 30 orphans from Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin were treated to a “buka puasa” by AmMetLife Takaful Berhad ("AmMetLife Takaful").
AmMetLife Takaful’s Chief Executive Officer, Noor Azam bin Mohd Yusof said, “The Company has reached out to various orphanages over the past four years and this year we chose to host children from Rumah Pengasih Warga Prihatin.”
“We wanted to put a smile on these children’s faces and give them the opportunity to experience breaking fast with AmMetLife Takaful family. We hope the children can now have a more meaningful experience of the fasting month,” added Azam Yusof.
The orphans between the ages of four to 17 were presented with duit raya and treated to a delicious spread of traditional Malay cuisine at the AmMetLife Takaful head office located in Menara 1 Sentrum, Kuala Lumpur. The event was also attended by AmMetLife Takaful family members who further added much cheer to the occasion.
