FKOAP CELEBRATES THE ABORIGINAL CULTURE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 (Bernama) --  The National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) will be organising the International Aborigines and Indigenous Arts Festival (FKOAP) under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture starting from October 22nd to 25th at the Titiwangsa Lake Garden Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.

This festival will be held for the first time in conjunction with the Malaysia Year of Festivals (MyFest) 2015, which aims to attract local and international tourists.

It is co-organised with the Orang Asli Affairs Department (JAKOA) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), assembling Aborigines and Indigenous people from eight countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Canada, China, Ghana, Philippines and Thailand.
