KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- IBFIM was named the Best Islamic Finance Publishing House 2015 by the ISFIRE magazine based in London, United Kingdom.
IBFIM’s
head of Knowledge Management Centre (KMC), Mohd Zain Abdul Rahman,
received the award at the Global Islamic Finance Awards 2015 (GIFA)
gala dinner held in Bahrain on Monday, 28 September 2015.
“Our
publications are also recognised not only by regulators and
practitioners, but also by institutions of higher learning. For example,
some of our best seller titles, covering the subjects of fundamental of
Islamic banking, shariah application and Islamic banking practices,
have been utilized as reference for local and foreign universities from
Asean, Japan, the Middle East and even in the UK,” according to Zain.
