HONG KONG, Nov 12 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- A.M. Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and the issuer credit rating of “a-” of Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd. (Meritz) (South Korea). The outlook for both ratings is stable.
The ratings reflect Meritz’s adequate risk-adjusted capitalization and stable operating performance.
The
company’s risk-adjusted capitalization, as measured by Best’s Capital
Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), remains stable and sound to support the current
ratings. The company has reported positive operating results over the
