KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- The shortlist for the Datacloud Asia Awards 2018 has been announced by the judging panel, recognising innovation and excellence in the flourishing Asian digital IT infrastructure market.
The Awards ceremony, which includes a gala dinner will be held this March 22 at Capella Hotel, Singapore after the Datacloud Asia Congress.
The categories in the Awards are Excellence in Data Centre Service: Asia, South-East Asia and India respectively; Best Data Centre Energy Solution; Data Centre Location; Excellence in Cloud Service: Asia and South-East Asia; Marketer of the Year; and Individual Industry Contribution - Ambassador Award.
"The judging panel has been overwhelmed by the number of quality nominations received and have worked tirelessly to reach this final shortlist," said Philip Low, chairman of BroadGroup, an information media technology and professional services company.
"The Asia data economy is thriving with many, from all across the region, demonstrating the ability to grow, innovate, deliver and disrupt.
"It is an extremely vibrant and attractive environment for innovators, financiers, technology vendors and enterprises and the Awards will be a keenly contested affair, celebrating both the rising stars and publicly listed success stories," he added.
In addition, the Datacentre and Cloud Leadership Awards, BroadGroup Awards for Excellence in Data Centre Architecture and Design Award, and Best Programme for Data Centre Training and Professional Development Award will also be presented on the night.
In only its second year, the Datacloud Asia Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the data centre and cloud industry calendar.
