KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 (Bernama) -- Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries’ Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group), a subsidiary of Nikkiso Co Ltd (Japan), has announced the appointment of Tim Born as Vice President of Oceania and South East Asia Region.
This important addition to the company’s management team is in line with the objectives of the Industrial Division of Nikkiso to better serve and support customers in strategic territories, according to a statement.
With his vast experience in managing and growing the Cryoquip business line in Australia, South East Asia, and India, Born will lead the Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases teams in this important region, and embark on a mission to deliver market share growth in a sustainable and profitable way.
Born started his career in 1983, as a Production Engineer with BOC Gases, and later held several positions as Plant Manager, Commissioning and Senior Process Engineer, and Customer Engineering Services Manager with the same group, with roles in Australia and the UK.
In 2000, he joined Cryoquip Pty Ltd as General Manager, and in 2012 appointed as Managing Director of the legal entity in Australia.
Last year, Born was promoted to the role of Vice President Cryoquip – South East Asia.
Cryogenic Industries Inc (now a member of Nikkiso Co Ltd) member companies manufacture engineered cryogenic gas processing equipment and small-scale process plants for the liquefied natural gas, well services and industrial gas industries.
