DANAJAMIN, PINTAR FOUNDATION JOINTLY NURTURE FUTURE LEADERS

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 7 (Bernama) – Danajamin Nasional Bhd (Danajamin) continues to nurture future leaders with its Danajamin100, a unique leadership enrichment programme, in collaboration with PINTAR Foundation.

According to Malaysia’s first financial guarantee insurer, in a statement, it had recently inducted its fifth batch of students into the Danajamin100 programme.

The company’s flagship corporate social responsibility initiative aims to develop and maximise students’ leadership abilities and potential through a variety of well-designed activities and engagements over a period of three years, focusing on character building and leadership, communication and professional skills.

The event was officiated by Danajamin managing director and chief executive officer, Mohamed Nazri Omar. Also presented was CEO of PINTAR Foundation, Karimah Tan Abdullah.

Mohamed Nazri said: “These students are our future leaders and it is vital for us to equip them with values such as integrity, courage and diligence to nurture capable, far-sighted and purposeful leaders in the long term."

Thirty students from schools in Selangor – SMK Pengkalan Permatang, SMK Ampang Pecah, SMK Jeram, SMK Batu Laut and SMK Bagan Terap – were shortlisted for the programme.

To date, 120 students from Klang Valley, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Kelantan and Melaka have benefited from the Danajamin100 programme.
