China's Midea goes global by cooling the heat at Jakarta-Bandung HSR project

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 (Bernama) -- China's electrical appliance manufacturer Midea Group is going global by cooling down the heat for Indonesia's 142-kilometre-long Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (HSR) with 705 indoor units and 126 outdoor units of Midea VC Pro VRF air-conditioners.

With a leading position in the global heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, the electrical appliance maker's Midea Building Technologies (MBT) division would be providing the Jakarta-Bandung HSR with professional air conditioning solutions.

In a statement, Midea said that the HVAC project is vital equipment support for Jakarta-Bandung HSR.

"The Jakarta-Bandung Railway is located in the tropical rainforest climate zone of Java Island and is influenced by the equatorial climate. Our multi-fluid chip liquid cooling technology allows for long-lasting cooling effects in high-temperature environments.

"The operator of the HSR needs a reliable and stable central air conditioning system to adapt to the high temperature and high humidity working conditions without downtime and effectively maintain the constant temperature of the HSR building space," it said.

Midea said its VC Pro VRFs units have also been used in the Dubai Expo and many other overseas projects.

"MBT has localised its sales and service networks in the international market, forming a comprehensive layout from core technology and original products to differentiated customised solutions," it added.
