LYDIA AI BAGS COMPANIES-TO-WATCH AWARD IN DELOITTE’S TECHNOLOGY FAST 50 PROGRAMME

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Insurtech startup, Lydia AI has received a Companies-to-Watch award as part of the 2022 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme, a pre-eminent technology awards programme recognising business growth, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Companies-to-Watch category highlights Canadian technology companies with the potential to be future Technology Fast 50 candidates by their revenue growth percentage over their last three years of operation.

Lydia AI’s co-founder and chief executive officer, Anthony Lee, credits the company’s success to working with insurers to develop standards for validating state-of-the-art machine learning models.

“It was not a straight path implementing models in the insurance industry, especially Asia. Our work continues to be figuring out how to use machine learning to help the next billion people safeguard their own health and financial security,” said Lee in a statement.

According to the statement, the companies listed in the Companies-to-Watch category had demonstrated promising growth trajectories and an exemplary ability to seize opportunities even in the face of a challenging economic context, setting them apart as members of an emerging cohort of tech leaders in Canada.

Established in 2015, Lydia AI is backed by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Information Venture Partners and 500 Global.
