CAPITAL A, AIRASIA ACADEMY HOSTS MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORTS, JOINS FORCES TO EMPOWER MALAYSIA'S YOUTH AND PARA ATHLETES IN A RAPIDLY CHANGING ECONOMY

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- In a collaboration aimed at uplifting the socioeconomic status of Malaysia's youth, airasia academy, the edutech platform of Capital A, proudly welcomed the delegation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (KBS), led by the Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Hannah Yeoh, to its learning and training centre on Friday.

The delegates from KBS engaged in productive discussions with the management of airasia academy and its sister companies, airasia Superapp and BigPay led by Aireen Omar, President (Investment & Ventures) of Capital A, airasia Superapp management and Zubin Rada Krishnan, CEO of BigPay.

This visit marks the beginning of a journey where Capital A, airasia academy, airasia Superapp and BigPay are set to join forces with the Ministry in a number of initiatives. The collaboration extends to supporting the Ministry’s Rakan Muda Initiatives through programs like Rakan Mahir and Rakan Digital, reinforcing its collective dedication to serving the underserved, as well as youth empowerment and digital literacy. Another aspect of the initiative is airasia academy’s commitment to upskilling and reskilling Para Athletes, equipping them with the essential skill sets required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy through their various educational offerings. Recognizing the unique talents and determination of these athletes, airasia academy will be providing its unwavering support to uplift the Para Athletes, not just on the field, but also in their pursuit of excellence outside of sports.

In a move aimed at easing the financial hardships Malaysia's youths are facing, BigPay, the fintech arm of Capital A, and travel platform airasia Superapp, are committed to providing comprehensive support to young individuals who may have faced financial setbacks, including bankruptcy, by offering them a transformative pathway towards financial recovery and substantial career growth.
