P&G welcomes global student participation for its 2019 CEO Challenge

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) has opened applications for college students who looking for a business competition to participate in its 2019 CEO Challenge.

Students who wanted to showcase their ingenuity and critical thinking skills beyond the college campus are welcomed to participate as they able to demonstrate their business skills in several real-world scenarios and showcase the type of work they could do for P&G brands.

Applications can be made through https://www.pg-ceochallenge.com as deadlines vary by country, a statement said.

“Students want an opportunity to demonstrate that they can put what they’ve learned into action. If you want exposure to the kind of work you’d do at P&G while showcasing your skills, this is your chance,” said P&G Chief Executive Officer (CEO), David Taylor.

For the 2019 challenge, students will get to work on a business case study for Gillette, the world’s largest grooming brand. It will be includes of three rounds: local, regional and global.

In the local and regional rounds, students’ work includes real P&G case studies and asked to build a business strategy while in the global round, they will compete in a business simulator that required them to make decisions in the company as the CEO.

Winners to have an interview with P&G through real-world business problem solving which potentially leading to an employment offer and all-expenses paid trip to the location of the Regional Finals and to compete in the Global Finals at Dubai, UAE on May 20 to 24, 2019.

Official winners will also be invited to company’s headquarters in Cincinnati to meet P&G leaders and CEO, David Taylor.

For the 2018 challenge, more than 23,000 students from 40 countries have applied with the winner was an all-female team of industrial engineers from Saudi Arabia. More details about the company at  http://www.pg.com.
